30 million rubles will be allocated for agricultural cooperatives support in Bashkiria

UFA, 4 May 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Darya Petrova/. In 2017, about 30 million rubles will be allocated to support agricultural production cooperatives. These figures were announced at a meeting of the Committee for Agrarian Issues, Ecology and Nature Management of the State Assembly RB.

Speaking before the deputies of the State Assembly, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture Lyalya Davletbaeva said that the grant program for the development of cooperatives infrastructure had been operating in the region since 2015. During this time, six co-operatives used the state's assistance; the total amount of grant support was more than 31 million rubles. Total, 49 agricultural consumer cooperatives are registered in the region. Actually, 32 of them are operating: 18 supply and marketing, six processing and eight loans granting.

A major role in providing methodological assistance to beginning cooperators is assigned to the Agricultural Consulting Centre and the Union of Agricultural Producers. According to the Deputy Minister, today the Centre for Agricultural Consulting is working on creation of a project office, which should become an "informational and methodological guide for the implementation of the project".
