MFC migration centre will be able to receive up to 500 people daily in Bashkiria by end of year

UFA, 26 April 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. A migration centre, which recently started operating at the multifunctional centre in the village of Chesnokovka, Ufa district, will be able to serve about 500 foreign citizens daily by the end of the year. Currently, the capacity of the centre is about 20 people a day. Almost 100 people were served here for a week of work.

As reported by the Bashinform News Agency, such migration centre was created for a comprehensive solution of issues in the sphere of migration in the territory of Bashkortostan. Its work facilitates the procedure for providing migration services in the territory of the region, creating comfortable conditions for foreign citizens in the sphere of obtaining patent registration services.

A patent for work is needed for citizens of Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine and Moldova. Foreign citizens, which are not violators of public order, with no previous criminal convictions and administrative offenses, legally residing in the territory of Russia, can obtain a patent. In addition, they must be healthy and know the Russian language and the history of the Russian Federation well enough.

The patent is the only document confirming the right of a foreign citizen who has arrived to the Russian Federation according to the visa free procedure to be temporarily engaged in labour activity.

Based on the patent, employers or customers of works (services) that are legal or physical entities have the right to recruit foreign citizens without additional permits.
