Ufa will host International Environmental Forum

UFA, 20 April 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Alfiya Agliullina/. From June 6 to 8, Ufa will host an International Environmental Forum, an ecological marathon and the 2nd specialized exhibition "Ecology. Technologies. Life". The corresponding order was signed by the Government of Bashkortostan, the press service of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology RB reports.

The main theme of the forum will be development of protected areas. This direction will also be devoted to the plenary session "Russia's Preservation –Develop Protecting". The program provides for holding round tables and panel discussions on state and prospects of eco-tourism, handling industrial and solid municipal waste, eco-development of cities, quality of water and air.

One of the most significant events of the forum will be holding of a meeting of the Russian Committee of the UNESCO International Program on Geosciences and Geoparks.

Last year more than 2600 people became participants of business events and participants of the educational program of the forum. 80 enterprises of Bashkortostan and Russia presented their expositions at the exhibition, which included 11 areas.
