USPTU was among winners of Russian Government Quality Award

UFA, 19 April 2017. /Bashinform News Agency/. The board of the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology (Rosstandart) hosted a solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of the Russian Government Quality Award in 2016.

Among the winners of the contest was Ufa State Petroleum Technological University, which became the first of the educational institutions of the republic, which received such a high award for 20 years of the contest's existence. The Vice-Rector for External Relations, the general manager of the integrated management system Marat Khusainov took part in the awarding ceremony.

The award was conferred by the Chairman of the Awarding Council on the Government Quality Award, the Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov and the head of Rosstandart, Alexei Abramov.

The Russian Government Award in the field of quality is the highest award of the country given for the perfection and quality of management. It is based on the Model of the European Foundation for Quality Management EFQM, which forms a basis of the model of the European Excellence Award (EFQM).
