It became known whether mortgage interest rate will decrease in Bashkiria

UFA, 13 April 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. In Bashkortostan there is a demand for mortgage loans and lower interest rates.

As reported at a round table meeting in RBC-Ufa, for 2016 in the republic 30.3 thousand mortgage loans worth about 43 billion rubles were issued. The rate of mortgage loans was 12.7 percent. This is by 0.9 percentage points lower than in 2015.

"By March 1 of this year, almost 3.2 thousand mortgage loans worth about 4.7 billion rubles were granted in the region. The level of mortgage rates was 12.1 percent. This is by 0.5 percent lower than the same indicator in 2016," stated Nikita Novikov, the head of the Economic Policy Department of the State Committee for Construction and Architecture RB.

As representatives of the banking community noted, demand for mortgages really increased. The interest rate on mortgage loans in all banks is approximately the same. At the same time, it is not planned to lower the rates, because they have already declined.

At the same time, if the housing market in Ufa has already developed, it is not true regarding the republic as a whole. There are some issues with demand, not all developers are ready to enter the regional market.

As Bashinform News Agency reported, in 2016 in the republic a square meter of housing in the primary market cost 51.5 thousand rubles, in the secondary market - 49.9 thousand. In Ufa, according to the "Expert" real estate agency, the cost of apartments in new buildings is 61.3 thousand rubles per square meter. It is somewhat cheaper in the secondary market - 58.9 thousand rubles.
