Bashkortostan Development Corporation is among leaders in information openness rating

UFA, 7 April 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. The Bashkortostan Development Corporation took the second place in the All-Russia rating of information openness following the results of work in 2016 - 97.3 percent.

Total, 45 regional development corporations operated in Russia last year.

The Kaliningrad Region Development Corporation was recognized as the leader of the rating. The top five also included the Development Corporation of the Vologda, Omsk and Ulyanovsk Regions. Such data are given by the "Country Capital" federal portal on the basis of the analytical report of the Centre for Macroeconomic Research of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.

The authors of the study note the activity shown by some regional development corporations in the information sphere. The presence of a foreign language version of the site was a parameter of the assessment of the activities of the corporation.

In the Russian Federation, only four sites have versions in the third language: the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Development Corporation of Kamchatka in Chinese, the Development Corporation of the Kaliningrad Region and the Vologda Region Development Corporation in German. Almost all development corporations have rather well-developed information sections.

When assessing the websites, the presence/absence of information about the projects themselves, timing and stages of their implementation, the scope of projects, the volumes of investments involved, co-investors, and the degree of the corporation's participation in these projects were taken into account. At the same time, information on investment sites located in the territory of the region was quite fully represented on all development corporations’ websites.
