Bashkiria agrarians sold grain to intervention fund for 564 million rubles

UFA, 5 April 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. Last year, agrarians of Bashkortostan sold more than 65,000 tons of grain to the intervention fund for a total of 564 million rubles.

According to the Rosselkhoznadzor, the Netherlands, Belarus, Lithuania, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are the main export markets for our republic.

As it was informed at a meeting of the leadership of the Ministry of Agriculture of the region with the founders and new members of the Bashkir Grain Union, the republic was among the top ten regions of Russia in terms of grain production.

Experts believe that the existing potential is a prerequisite for the development of new markets for the sale of grain. One of the tools to establish such sales markets is joining the Russian Grain Union on the basis of the Bashkir Grain Union.

The union, created on March 1, 2017, is aimed at uniting enterprises and organizations of all forms of ownership which activities are related to production, storage, processing of grain, domestic and foreign trade of grain, bakery products and mixed fodders in the territory of Bashkortostan.
