Debt on loans extended to economy decreased in Bashkiria - National Bank

UFA, 3 April 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. The debt on loans granted to legal entities and individuals in Bashkortostan decreased to 636.5 billion rubles by March 1 this year. The growth rate by the beginning of the year was 99.9 percent.

As of February 1, 2017, the debt on loans extended to the economy amounted to 640.8 billion rubles. Such data are provided by the press office of the Branch - National Bank in Bashkortostan.

Currently, 73 credit institutions operate in the territory of Bashkortostan, a total of 1082 banking units.

In terms of the number of banking units, the republic ranks second in the banking sector of the Volga Federal District and sixth in Russia.
