Customs post at Ufa airport begins to accept preliminary declarations

UFA, 31 March 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. The "Airport Ufa" customs post starts accepting preliminary declarations for goods imported by air to the territory of the EEU. Mandatory preliminary information distribution will begin to operate in the country from April 1 for participants in foreign economic activities. This is a progressive technology that allows optimizing customs procedures, the Bashkortostan customs explained. The department informs that the operations from the creation of preliminary information to the receipt of data were worked out in a test mode.

Equipment for industrial enterprises mainly comes to the republic by air cargo transport (64 percent of imports), products made of ferrous metal (8.4), medical equipment (4.5). 98.7 percent of exports passing through the customs post are accounted for aviation fuel, with which the airport fuels jets of foreign airlines. Also UMPO plant sends its products to customers by air.
