Bashkiria takes sixth place in new cars sales rating

UFA, 31 March 2017. /Bashinform News Agency/. Bashkortostan is takes the sixth place in the rating of the largest regional new cars markets. The list following the results of the first two months of the year was compiled by experts of the Autostat analytical agency, RBC-Ufa informs.

Compared with the last year, the market volume in the republic increased by 7.7 percent and reached 5.8 thousand cars. Thus, the region share is accounted for 3.6 percent of all new cars.

Experts recorded the biggest increase in the Perm region - plus 13.3 percent; the worst situation was in Moscow, where the market volume for the two months decreased by 20 percent. At the same time, the Russian capital remains the largest regional market in the country: over 25,000 cars were sold there, which accounted for 15.7 percent of the total market. Next is the Moscow region (+3.7 percent to 13.7 thousand vehicles) and St. Petersburg (-3.7, 10.8 thousand units). Among the non-capital entities of Russia, Tatarstan (+9.1, over 8,000), and also the Krasnodar Territory (-2.4, 6.3 thousand) are among the top five.
