"Ufa-Ladya. Art. Crafts. Souvenirs" exhibition-festival opens in Ufa

UFA, 29 March 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Alim Faizov/. On March 29, "Ufa-Ladya. Art. Crafts. Souvenirs" exhibition-festival opens in the capital of Bashkortostan. It will last until March 31.

The forum is organized by the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Ministry of Industry and Innovative Policy RB, the Association of Folk Arts and Crafts of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Bashkir Exhibition Company. Assistance is provided by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection RB, the Ministry of Education RB, the State Committee RB for Entrepreneurship and Tourism, the administration of Ufa. The festival is held with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, the Association of National Art Crafts of Russia.

The exhibition-festival is held for the fourth time focusing on supporting and promoting artisans of the republic, attracting public attention to the problem of preserving native folk crafts, popularizing cultural heritage of the peoples inhabiting the Republic of Bashkortostan.

In 2014 18 municipal districts and city districts took part in the exhibition, this year there will be collective stands of 45 districts, which will unite more than 250 artisans with unique man-made products.
