Bashkiria enters Top 10 regions of Russia in gross agricultural output

UFA, 29 March 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. As a result of 2016, the gross agricultural output amounted to 165.7 billion rubles in Russia. Of these, Bashkortostan accounts for 165,724.6 million rubles.

According to this indicator, Bashkortostan is on the seventh place, among the regions of the Volga Federal District - on the second. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture RB.

The republic retained the seventh place in Russia and the second in the Volga Federal District in production of cattle meat.

The production of vegetables brought Bashkortostan to the second place in the country and the first - in the Volga Federal District last year.
