Bashkiria is among leaders in public-private partnerships development

UFA, 28 March 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. Bashkortostan ranked seventh in the rating of regions on the level of public-private partnership (PPP) developments by results of 2016, having risen by four positions in comparison with 2015. The target for 2016 established by the federal centre was 54.2 percent. The republic achieved the value of 67.7 percent.

The top three leaders in the rating-2016 included Moscow, Moscow and Samara regions. The evaluation of the regions is carried out by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation in conjunction with the Association of Participants of Public-Private Partnership "PPP Development Centre".

The calculation takes into account the experience of PPP projects implementing in the region, the appropriate regulatory and legal support, as well as development of the institutional environment in the field of public-private partnership, the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development of Bashkortostan explains.

The results of 2016 were summed up at the 4th infrastructure congress "The Russian Week of Public-Private Partnership". The Minister of Economic Development of Bashkortostan Sergey Novikov participates in his work.

During the regional rating of PPP development, Bashkortostan ranked 51st in 2013, 16th in 2014 and 11th in 2015.
