Number of vacancies increased in Bashkiria

UFA, 27 March 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. In Bashkortostan, the number of vacancies announced by employers to the employment service is growing. Thus, if at the beginning of the year there were over 32,300 jobs in the republican job bank, today there are more than 35,300 jobs.
The number of officially registered unemployed in the region for the past week slightly decreased and amounted to 24.2 thousand people. The level of registered unemployment is equal to 1.2 percent in the republic.
As reported by the Bashinform News Agency, the total number of unemployed according to the methodology of the International Labour Organization exceeds 115 thousand people in Bashkortostan. A year ago, there were more than 122,000 unemployed in the republic.
These are the results of the latest labour force survey on average for November 2016-January-2017, carried out by the Federal State Statistics Service.
The number of employed population currently exceeds 1.892 million people in Bashkortostan.
