Agreement on friendship and cooperation is signed between Ufa and Sochi

UFA, 23 March 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. In the capital of Bashkortostan, an agreement on friendship and cooperation between Ufa and Sochi was signed. The document was signed by the head of the Ufa administration Irek Yalalov and the head of the resort city of Sochi Anatoly Pakhomov.

As noted by the city authorities, the agreement will facilitate the development of mutually beneficial projects, exchange of experience in development of priority sectors of the economy and bilateral relations in the field of investment and innovation. It is also expected that the agreement will contribute to the development of small business, strengthening and development of established contacts in the field of culture and youth policy sphere.

At the moment, Ufa has several twin cities: Astana, Ankara, Halle, Shenyang, Qiqihar, Nanchang and Hefei. In addition, cooperation agreements have been signed with Chelyabinsk and Kazan.
