Food basket has again risen in price in Bashkortostan

UFA, 22 March 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. The food basket price once again went up in the republic. According to the selective weekly monitoring of Bashkortostan Statistics Agency, the potato showed the greatest jump in price for a week - 3.1 percent and reached 22.39 rubles per kilogram.

Carrots took the second place, with growth of 1.7 percent and averaged 24.07 rubles per kilogram.

The fresh white cabbage closed the top three - 17.42 rubles per kilogram (+1.5 percent to the level of prices as of March 13, 2017).

The butter rose by 1.4 percent and reached 487.42 rubles per kilogram.

Milk, salt, lamb (except boneless meat), onions, bread and bakery products, black leaf tea and granulated sugar went up in price less than 1 percent for a week.

Pork, millet, buckwheat-berry, beef, ground rice, frozen undivided fish, bread from rye flour, as well as rennet hard and soft cheeses have fallen in price less than 1 percent in the republic.

Chicken eggs and chilled and frozen chicken fell by 1% exactly as of March 20 - 55.63 rubles per ten pieces and 124.92 rubles per kilogram, respectively.

In the republic sunflower oil, pasta and apples became cheaper by 1.1 - 1.4 percent - 99.61 rubles, 46.43 and 72.47 rubles, respectively.

Wheat flour price decreased more than other products from the consumer basket for a week - by 1.6 percent, or 28.99 rubles per kilogram.
