First resident appeared in Kumertau PDA

UFA, 21 March 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. In Kumertau the first investor - "Elevator" LLC - applied for an agreement on activities execution in the priority social and economic development area (PDA). This was reported by the press service of the Kumertau administration.

LLC "Elevator" is implementing an investment project "Oil extraction plant construction in the village of Mayachny". It provides for investment of 6 billion rubles, creation of 520 new jobs with an average salary of 23 thousand rubles.

The project is aimed at diversifying the economy of the urban district and has a positive impact on the development of agricultural producers in Bashkortostan. The funds of the Mono-Cities Development Fund were used to build and reconstruct engineering and transport infrastructure for implementing this investment project.

The application of the resident was considered by the working group of the municipality, which unanimously decided to send a positive conclusion to the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Then the documents will be considered by the republican commission. If a positive decision is taken, it will send the documents to the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation for the registration of the investor as a PDA resident. From the date of registration, the investor has an opportunity to apply for tax benefits.

The PDA status was received by Kumertau in December last year. In March this year, the republic and the Kumertau administration adopted corresponding procedures for the recognition of investors as PDA residents.
