Russian Labour Ministry announced holidays transfers in 2018

UFA, 17 March 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. The Ministry of Labour of Russia has prepared a draft resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation for rational use of weekends and non-working holidays, which establishes a procedure for transferring days off in 2018.

Taking into account that in 2018 several holidays coincide with weekends, the following transfer procedure is proposed. Weekends from January 6 and 7 (Saturday and Sunday) coinciding with non-working holidays are scheduled for March 9 and May 2, respectively.

In addition, the ministry proposes to transfer rest days from Saturday April 28, Saturday June 9 and Saturday December 29, to Monday April 30, Monday June 11, and Monday December 31, respectively.

Thus, in 2018 the following days off are planned:

From December 30, 2017 to January 8, 2018;

From February 23 to 25;

From March 8 to 11;

From April 29 to May 2;

May 9;

From June 10 to 12;

From November 3 to 5.
