Housing Mortgage Lending Agency has reduced its rate to 10.25 percent

UFA, 14 March 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Alfiya Agliullina/. The Agency for Housing Mortgage Lending (AHML) has lowered mortgage rates to the lowest level in the history of mortgage lending in Russia.

Mortgage loans for housing under construction can now be issued at a rate of 10.25 percent per annum. The rate will be further reduced by 0.25 percentage points for certain categories of borrowers, including large families, as well as housing buyers in the Far Eastern Federal District and the Baikal region. The ready-made housing loans, on-lending, as well as loans secured by existing housing are issued at a rate of 10.5 percent per annum, the press service of AHML informs.

The rates as part of the "Acquisition of housing at construction stage" mortgage program have been reduced by 1.25 percentage points, the "Acquisition of ready-made housing", "On-lending" and "Target loan secured by existing apartment" rates have been reduced by 1 percentage point.

AHML loans are issued by the Agency's partners in more than 60 regions, including Bashkortostan. The loan term is up to 30 years, the amount is up to 20 million rubles in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Moscow Region and up to 10 million rubles in other regions. The interest rate does not depend on the term and amount of the loan.

AHML does not have branches, representative offices, offices and subsidiaries in the regions, wholly owned by the state.
