Bashkiria is among best regions in dairy productivity

UFA, 13 March 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. Bashkortostan was among 22 regions that managed to achieve the maximum increase in dairy productivity of cows - by more than five percent.

Such data were presented by the Accounts Chamber of Russia based on the results of checking the measures effectiveness aimed at import substitution in the dairy industry in 2015-2016.

The check showed that by the end of 2015, six regions had increased milk production by more than five percent. In five regions, the number of cows increased by five percent or more.

As shown by the results of a poll conducted in the context of the check, Russians were generally satisfied with the quality of dairy products. Thus, 33 percent of respondents rated the quality of milk sold in their region as good, 7.6 percent - as excellent, 37 percent named it satisfactory.

Only 22 percent of the polled Russians were not satisfied with the quality of milk, according to the website of the Ministry of Agriculture of Bashkortostan.
