Bashkiria will receive 856 million rubles for yards improvement

UFA, 7 March 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. The republic will receive from the federal budget 856 million rubles in the framework of the national project on the formation of a modern urban environment in 2017. The Minister of Housing and Communal Services RB Sergey Afonin announced this at the final board of the department. Co-financing from the republican budget will amount to 175 million rubles (17%), total project funds will amount to 1.31 billion rubles.

Two thirds of the funds will be used for improvement of the yards, the remaining one third will be spent on arranging the most visited places, which citizens will point out. Residents of the households chosen to participate in the project have already been notified that they can participate by making their own funds, which should be 5 percent of the amount allocated for the work. For many yards, asphalting of plots freed from demolition of garages and illegal buildings, and arrangement of parking lots are supposed.

As previously reported by the federal media, in 2017 the RF Government planned to allocate 20 billion rubles and conclude agreements with the regions before March 1. The project provides for improvement measures in settlements with a population of more than 1000 people, taking into account accessibility requirements for people with disabilities.
