In Bashkiria women assess their salary expectations more realistically than men

UFA, 6 March 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. Salary expectations of men and women differ significantly. According to the analysis of more than 200 thousand CVs of Ural residents, including Bashkortostan, posted on the HeadHunter website since the beginning of the year, the average desired wage for men is by 15-20 thousand rubles higher than the average wage that women indicate.

At the same time women more realistically assess their salary expectations - they almost always correspond to the average wage, which is offered by employers.

For example, in Ufa, the average salary offer is 30 thousand rubles. However, male job seekers expect an average of 50 thousand rubles, female - 32 thousand rubles.

In Yekaterinburg, the average offer in the city is 40 thousand rubles. The average level of men’s expectations in this city is 65 thousand rubles, women - 45 thousand.

Chelyabinsk male jobseekers feel like earning on average 50 thousand rubles, female - 37 thousand. The average offer in the city is 35 thousand rubles.

The study established that the most attractive area for both men and women was "Sales". Further preferences differ: women prefer to work accountants, marketers, HR-specialists, or in administrative positions or in the banks. The stronger sex selects "Production", "Top Management", "Construction" and "Transport" working areas.
