24.5 thousand unemployed are registered in Bashkortostan - employment service
UFA, 6 March 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. According to the latest information of the employment services, in Bashkortostan there are 24.5 thousand officially registered unemployed.
The republican job bank contains information on 33.4 thousand jobs. Registered unemployment rate is 1.22 percent.
According to preliminary data for 2016, the average workforce was 2.011 million people in Bashkortostan. Of these, more than 1,895,000 – are engaged citizens, 116 thousand people - are unemployed.
As Bashinform News Agency reported, the average monthly salary of employees of enterprises and organizations amounted to 27 820 rubles in the region in January-December 2016. This is by 7.1 percent more than in 2015.
The increase in wages occurred in all sectors over the year.
Traditionally the highest salaries were in production of oil products - an average of 69,442 rubles, as well as in mining operations - 53 665 rubles.
Those engaged in the chemical industry, as a whole received an average of 43,311 rubles per month in 2016.
Also the top five most profitable economic activities included "Financial Activities" - 41 987 rubles per month, and "Public Administration and Defense; Social Insurance "- 38 793 rubles.
At the same time the smallest salaries are paid to those engaged in production of leather, leather products and footwear - 11 868 rubles, and also workers of agriculture and forestry - 15.4 thousand.
The five lowest-paying industries also included: "Textile and clothing industry" - 15 788 rubles, "Hotels and restaurants" - 16 621 "Other manufacturing" - 17 619, Bashkortostan Statistics Agency informs.
