Mikhail Babich and Rustem Khamitov visited construction of Zatonskaya CHP

UFA, 3 March 2017. /Bashinform News Agency/. On March 3, in the village of Dmitrievka Ufa District the Plenipotentiary Envoy of the RF President to Volga Federal District Mikhail Babich paying a working trip to our republic and the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov visited Zatonskaya CHP being under construction - the branch of LLC "Bashkir Generation Company".

Construction of this facility is the largest investment project in the modern history of the Bashkir energy system. It was launched in 2008, but in 2010 the construction works were suspended. In July 2015 its construction was resumed.

The General Director of LLC "Bashkir Generation Company" Alexander Simanovskiy said that CHP included two combined-cycle plants with a total capacity of 440 MW. Its commissioning will reduce the shortage of generating capacity in Ufa power grid, improve power supply reliability. The heating energy generated by Zatonskaya CHP will be delivered to customers of housing estates under construction.

Mikhail Babich and Rustem Khamitov examined the construction site, turbine department, discussed the economic effect of the object commissioning.

Currently, on-site of the CHP Zatonskaya the main building, circulation pump, indoor switchgear, administrative building, frames of cooling towers, open-air transformers plant are built, installation of two heat recovery steam generators was made.

Most of the equipment at the station is made by the Russian manufacturers. Natural gas will be used as the main fuel.

At the final stage it is planned to finish the construction of a number of buildings and structures, engineering services, internal roads, landscape the territory. The power plant commissioning is scheduled for the second half of 2017.
