Bashkortostan farmers exported 20 tons of honey to China last month

UFA, 1 March 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. Bashkortostan is preparing to sign a new agreement on cooperation in the "Volga-Yangtze" format. This was discussed at a meeting of the Russian part of the Joint Working Group in the format of "Volga-Yangtze" on the current state and prospects of cooperation development in trade-economic and humanitarian fields. A particular attention was paid to the upcoming session of the working group, scheduled for April this year in Ufa.

The region continues to develop cooperation between Bashkortostan universities and the Chinese provinces. Bashkir State Medical University in 2015 concluded a cooperation agreement with Nanchang, Anhui, Sichuan University and the University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Jiangxi Province. Within the framework of these agreements exchange of students and teachers is carried out, scientific conferences are organized.

The cooperation in the framework of the signed documents in the field of economics, business and culture is going on. Bashkir honey is delivered to China regularly. In January of this year, farmers of the republic exported 20 tons of honey to Anhui Province.
