"METRO Cash & Carry" is planning to build another mall in Bashkortostan

UFA, 28 February 2017. /Bashinform News Agency/. The "METRO Cash & Carry" company is planning to build another shopping mall in Bashkortostan. This was discussed at a meeting of the republican delegation with the company CEO Jere Calmes as part of the Russian Investment Forum "Sochi-2017".

“We are greatly interested in developing our business in Ufa and Bashkortostan”, Jere Calmes underlined. “Our first mall was opened in the republic back in 2005, and we see growing potential of your region.”

“We welcome your intention of further expanding your business in Bashkortostan. In turn, we suggest you paying attention to logistical advantages of our republic in terms of METRO Cash & Carry inter-regional wholesale distribution centre opening”, said the Prime Minister of the Government RB Rustem Mardanov. “Such prospects open good opportunities for Bashkir producers on entering new markets and attracting additional investments to the economy of Bashkortostan.”
