Executive positions are taken by men much more than by women in Ufa - study

UFA, 28 February 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. The research service of HeadHunter analyzed nearly six thousand top managers CVs in Ufa placed on hh.ru website, and revealed the ratio of men and women in executive positions by professional areas.

"Analysis of CVs showed that senior positions in Ufa companies are occupied mostly by men. On average, the ratio is 70 to 30 percent in the regional labour market", said the head of the press service of HeadHunter in Bashkortostan Olga Gibadullina.

The study states that most male executives are working in the fields of: "Sales" - 49 percent, "Administration" - 27 percent, "Manufacturing" - 24 percent.

"The most interesting thing is that in Ufa there is no sphere where female managers prevail. Only in tourism and hospitality industry the fair sex is close to equality - 53 percent of men, 47 percent of women. Even in education and human resources management - traditionally "female" areas, men are in charge", said the head of the HeadHunter press-service.
