Rustem Khamitov headed Bashkortostan delegation at Russian Investment Forum "Sochi-2017"

UFA, 27 February 2017. /Bashinform News Agency/. The Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov headed the official delegation of the republic at the Russian Investment Forum "Sochi-2017", which takes place on February 27-28.

The Head of the Republic will take part in a plenary session of the forum, a meeting of the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and the heads of the regions for inter-budgetary policy and the Vice-Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Arkady Dvorkovich with members of the Innovative Regions Association of Russia.

The delegation working program includes workshops, panel discussions, round tables on key issues of social and economic development of the regions, development of industrial clusters, financing of infrastructure projects, inter-budgetary relations, investments efficiency increase, cooperation of institutions, domestic tourism, development of single-industry towns, creating a comfortable urban environment.

It is planned to sign investment agreements with a number of large companies and industrial enterprises at the forum.

The Russian Investment Forum "Sochi" is a traditional venue for presentation of the Russian investment and economic potential. It was initiated in 2002 to discuss the issues of attracting investments to the regions. The Forum is held annually with the support of the Russian Government.
