Two vacancies are accounted for every unemployed Ufa resident

UFA, 21 February 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. About two vacant jobs are accounted for every unemployed Ufa resident now.

In the Bashkir capital there are about six thousand unemployed registered in the employment service. The city job bank contains information on 11.4 thousand jobs offered by employers at the Labour exchange. Total 6.6 thousand Ufa residents are registered in the employment service. The economically active population of Ufa, according to recent data, is 593,000 people.

As the Bashinform News Agency was informed at the Ufa Employment Centre, the intensity factor, or the ratio of total number of citizens who are registered in the employment service to the number of vacancies decreased slightly and amounted to 0.58.

The unemployment rate is 1.01 percent.

During 2016 the City Employment Service employed more than 18.4 thousand people, or 81.64 percent of the total registered put unemployed since the beginning of the year.
