Preparations for large-scale agro-industrial forum and "Agrocomplex" exhibition are started in Bashkortostan

UFA, 20 February 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. The republic began preparations for a large-scale agro-industrial forum and the 27th International Specialized Exhibition "Agricultural complex". They will be held in Ufa at VDNkH-EXPO from March 14 to 17.

The corresponding decree was signed by the Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan Rustem Mardanov.

According to the document, the activities are carried out for the new production technologies development in agribusiness, establishment of mutually beneficial contacts, saturation of the food market with agricultural products and foodstuffs, as well as for the development of promising channels for agricultural products in domestic and foreign markets.

Over the years, Bashkortostan takes one of the leading positions in Russia and makes a significant contribution to the development of domestic agriculture.

The region is a major supplier of agricultural products and food, has a considerable potential for agricultural engineering. In addition, it is actively developing scientific activities.

At present, the "Agricultural complex" International Exhibition is the major in the Volga Federal District.

For more than a quarter century, the "Agricultural Complex" has become one of the most important exhibitions for the demonstration of new agricultural machinery and equipment for agriculture, processing industry and food.

Last year, more than 270 companies from 30 regions of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, China, Holland, Poland, Germany and other countries became participants of the exhibition in Ufa. The total exhibition area was then 14 thousand square meters.
