Bashkortostan takes 49th place in mobile accessibility in our country

The republic dropped from 36 to 49th place among the subjects of the Russian Federation in the rating of mobile accessibility, the RBC-Ufa reports according to analysts. The rating takes into account the average cost of package of services of mobile operators and incomes.

The mobile telephony was the cheapest, as well as the last year, in the Tyumen region. Also the top three included Moscow (earlier occupied the eighth place) and the Irkutsk Region (formerly the fifth). The list is closed with Volgograd, Saratov and Kirov regions.

The study authors noted that the trend of accessibility index to a greater extent depended on changes in household income than the cost of tariffs, because "providers prefer to change the content not the cost: make tariffs with low monthly fee, but with packages of services not completely suitable for customers requirements".
