More than 260 thousand families received maternity capital in Bashkiria

UFA, 16 February 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. In Bashkortostan for 10 years of the maternity capital program existence certificates were issued to more than 260 thousand families. Of these, more than 138 thousand families fully disposed of these funds.

Initially, it was possible to dispose of funds in three areas: improvement of living conditions, education of children and future mother pension. Last year it was added one more - social adaptation and integration into society of children with disabilities.

According to the member of the Board of the Pension Fund of Russia, Executive Manager of the Pension Fund Branch in Bashkortostan Foat Khantimerov, improvement of living conditions continues to be the most popular area of the maternity capital disposal in the region.

Almost 192.5 thousand families, or 96 percent of applicants preferred to use the funds to improve their living conditions.

Around 136.8 thousand people filed applications for repayment of principal and payment of interest on loans, including mortgage, for the purchase (construction) of housing. About 55.7 thousand people submitted applications for improvement of living conditions without involvement of loans.

More than 7.4 thousand applications were received for provision of educational services, including more than 900 for the payment of kindergarten fees.

137 applications were submitted for formation of the accumulative part of pensions, and one application - to pay for goods and services for social adaptation and integration into society of a disabled child.
