Social entrepreneurship will receive federal support in Bashkortostan

UFA, 9 February 2017. /Bashinform News Agency/. In Bashkortostan the Innovation Social Sphere Centre developing social entrepreneurship has received state support in the amount of 6 million rubles. Of these, 1 million rubles are allocated for the "Small and Medium Enterprises Development and Support in Bashkortostan" program. 5 million are received from the federal budget as a result of the successful participation of the State Committee RB for Entrepreneurship and Tourism in the contest held by the Economic Development Ministry. It is reported by the press service of the Government RB.

Among the priorities of the centre in 2017 is provision of information and consulting services on socially oriented business management, formation of the registry of specialized small and medium-sized businesses (by industries), holding the Republican Forum on Social Entrepreneurship and the annual republican competition "The Best Social Project".

Last year the centre experts held more than 800 consultations and 15 educational events. In order to attract investment in social sphere an online catalog of the best social projects of the republic was created. The centre carries out an educational course of three-month business support with access to the investment session "Social Projects Accelerator". At the end of 2016 31 social projects were supported on the way to creation of sustainable business models.
