Bashkiria intends to promote "Legend of Urals" tourism cluster in regions

UFA, 9 February 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. The State Committee RB for Entrepreneurship and Tourism intends to intensify this year's work on promoting regional tourism and recreation cluster "Mountain resorts of Bashkortostan «Legend of the Urals».

The "Legend of the Urals" cluster unites three ski centres "Mratkino", "Bannoe" and "Abzakovo", Mount Iremel, Kapova Cave, "Tengri" tourist camp, "Assy" sanatorium and other objects, attractive for tourists.

"Experts in the field of tourism have already prepared a plan on promoting the project - where, in what regions, and how to bring to notice to potential visitors the information about this cluster. Furthermore, in mountainous regions a certain modernization of the equipment is scheduled. It is possible that this year we will start a construction of hotels and two campsites near Mratkino ski resort. A large amount of work should be carried out on infrastructure improvement, creation of a single logistics system. All this is to be done before winter", said the Chairman of the State Committee RB for Entrepreneurship and Tourism Vyacheslav Gilyazitdinov.

In his opinion, it is equally important to use the potential of the cluster in summer too. Vyacheslav Gilyazitdinov named holding the Sabantui holiday, development of agro-tourism and cycling tourism, as well as creation of horse riding trails and an ethnic village as motivating factors for the increase of summer interest in it.
