Lowest wage arrears in Volga Federal District are recorded in Bashkiria

UFA, 6 February 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. Bashkortostan maintains the leading position in the Volga Federal District as the region with the lowest amount of wage arrears.

According to the Bashkortostan Ministry of Labour citing Bashkortostan Statistics Agency data as of January 1 of this year, wage arrears in the republic decreased by 2.7 times, or 2 million rubles. They amounted to 1.2 million rubles to 64 employees in the same organization - LLC "Jute-ST" (Agidel city).

As "Bashinform reports, due to the work done by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection RB, as a whole for 2016 it was managed to eliminate and partially repay the debt in 223 companies in the region totaling 612 million rubles.
