Bashkiria inhabitants shared how often they worked after hours

UFA, 2 February 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. The HeadHunter Research Service in Bashkortostan interviewed employees of companies to find out how often they worked after hours.
The survey found out that most respondents had to stay after hours at least once a week (76 percent). 18 percent had overtime work on each working day, 37 percent - several times a week, 21 percent - less than once per week. Only 11 percent of respondents never worked extra.
At the same time the overtime work most often happened in the banking sector employees (25 percent), civil servants (24 per cent) and extraction of raw materials employees (22 percent).
Workers of sports organizations (51 percent), tourism, hotel and restaurant business (49 percent), as well as security professionals (44 percent) stayed late at work several times a week.
The top three of those who never worked after hours included HR managers (14 percent), workers of industrial sphere (10 percent) and young accountants (9 percent).
"It was found out an interesting fact: the higher the position of an employee, the more likely he will do overtime work every day or at least several times a week. Fledgling specialists more often indicate that they never work after hours", said the Head of the HeadHunter in Bashkortostan Press Service Olga Gibadullina.
44 percent of respondents named a situation with urgent need to do some work or when required by management as the main reasons for working extra hours.
17 percent of respondents said that they stayed working in an empty office, because they thought better in silence.
Among the reasons there were also such as "until the last customer leaves" and just my "favourite work" when employees "cannot stop".
