"Road map" to support and stimulate exports is considered in Bashkiria

UFA, 31 January 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. The Bashkortostan Government considered a plan of measures to support and stimulate the republican export.

The document was prepared by the Ministry of Economic Development of the region and structured by four areas.

According to the press service of the Ministry, the first area concerns formation and improvement of export support system. It provides for defining priority directions of republican export and preparing an export map, arranging a Centre for Support Coordination of Export-Oriented Small and Medium Enterprises of the republic, creating a working group to support and stimulate exports, as well as forming a mechanism of interaction with Russian trade missions in foreign countries to promote the Bashkir products in foreign markets.

The second area is related to provision of financial support to export-oriented enterprises, where a key place is given to the issue of attracting federal funds as part of the republic's participation in the government programs in the field of export support. Special attention is paid to cooperation with federal institutions and development of banking institutions in terms of subsidies, guarantees, credit insurance and preferential export projects.

The third area is promotion activity. This includes seminars, round tables, training for republican enterprises on export activity, as well as organization of business meetings with foreign partners.

Participation in exhibitions and fairs with the presentation of the export potential of Bashkortostan is supposed.

It is planned to reach the next level in work with export-oriented organizations. Measures to develop awareness about the republican products abroad, as well as informing businesses about the needs of foreign countries are envisaged.
