Regional investment development was discussed in Karmaskaly region of Bashkiria

UFA, 27 January 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. The Minister of Economic Development of Bashkortostan Sergey Novikov held a working session with investment commissioners of regions and urban districts of the republic in Karmaskaly.

"Each municipality has to be interested in bringing into its territory new investors and lining up the work with key enterprises of the region to intensify their investment activities. Starting this year, the work of municipalities in this area will be evaluated within the framework of the regional rating on promoting competition and ensuring conditions for favourable investment climate", Sergey Novikov said.

A special attention was paid at a session to the challenges facing Kumertau and Belebey single-industry towns and obtaining by them a status of priority social and economic development areas. They were instructed to develop an action plan to attract residents - companies with investment plans by the end of February.

The other single-industry municipalities need to intensify work on cooperation with the Monocities Development Fund to identify key investment projects involving co-financing of infrastructure construction from the Fund. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development of the region.
