Bashkortostan intends to intensify cooperation with Belarus

UFA, 26 January 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. The Minister of Economic Development of Bashkortostan Sergey Novikov met with the newly appointed advisor, head of the Ufa Department of the Belarus Republic Embassy in the Russian Federation Peter Baltrukovich.

The main topic of discussion was cooperation issues between Bashkortostan and the Republic of Belarus. In particular, it was talked about signing the agreement on trade-economic, scientific-technical and cultural cooperation between the two governments. The sides expressed their willingness to work together to increase trade between the two republics, elaborate joint innovation projects, create joint ventures.

The Embassy Department will be sent investment projects of Bashkortostan, as well as information materials on conditions and benefits for companies placing production facilities in priority social and economic development areas of the cities of Belebey and Kumertau.
