"Strategy 2030" discussed family well-being formation in Ufa

UFA, 23 January 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. In Ufa, a public discussion of initiatives to the Strategy of Bashkortostan Socio-Economic Development until 2030 was held. The researcher of the Institute of Strategic Studies RB Nataliya Lavrenyuk made a presentation of the "Family - As Strategic Priority of Bashkortostan Republic" program. The initiative considers family as a main value of our society and associates its well-being with an efficient economy. It offers a number of programs and sub-programs for the successful development of the society and the real economy - educational, developmental, rehabilitating, aimed at the conscious parenting and motivating social and family responsibilities. It is expected that an interdepartmental project office will be established in the republic for the implementation of these programs.

By 2030, developers of the strategic initiatives planned to achieve the following indicators in the field of human development: to increase life expectancy from 70 to 78 years and to move from 55th position in the Russian Federation to the top twenty; to increase the share of people with higher education employed in the real sector of the economy from 26.8 to 34.3 percent and from 68th position in the Russian Federation to get to the Top 30; to increase the living space per inhabitant from 24.2 to 34 square meters and enter the top twenty of the best regions from the previous 49th position.
