Non-contributory pension will be increased by average of 294 rubles since February 1

UFA, 23 January 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. The average size of a fixed payment to a non-contributory pension will be increased by 294 rubles and will make 5724 rubles from February 1, 2017. The fixed payment to an non-contributory old age pension, non-contributory disability pension to disabled groups I and II will be increased to 246 rubles, and will amount to 4559 rubles, to the non-contributory survivors' pension and disability group III –123 rubles (2402 rubles).

Increase in the fixed payment to non-contributory pension will apply to all unemployed recipients of non-contributory pensions. That's about 30 million people, according to the website of the Russian Government.

As a result, the size of the fixed payment to the non-contributory pension for children who have lost both parents will be increased; children of the deceased single mother; pensioners who have reached the age of 80 years; disabled people group I; pensioners with dependents, as well as other categories of citizens.

Adjustment of non-contributory pensions will be carried out at the expense of the budget of the Pension Fund.
