Maternity capital will remain at level of 2016 - Bashkiria Pension Fund

UFA, 20 January 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. In 2017, the size of maternity capital will remain at the level of the last year and amount to 453 026 rubles. Those families in which the second (or subsequent) child will be born in the period up to 31 December 2018 are entitled to the maternity capital. Thus the certificate reception and its means disposal have no time limits.

The funds of the capital can be disposed in four areas: improvement of living conditions, payment of educational services for children, formation of the future mother’s pension as well as payment for goods and services for social adaptation and integration of children with disabilities.

"Since 2007, 260 thousand state certificates have been issued in the republic. During this time, the cost of support for families with children amounted to 72 billion rubles", said the member of the Board of the Pension Fund of Russia, the Managing Director in Bashkortostan Foat Khantimerov.

According to him, 67.5 billion rubles were directed to improve housing conditions. 371, 6 million rubles were directed on provision of educational services, formation of the accumulative part of pensions, social adaptation of disabled children. 4 billion rubles were used for providing one-time payments.
