Less number of unemployed is registered in Bashkiria - Ministry of Labour

UFA, 20 January 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. The situation in the labour market of Bashkortostan is generally consistent with the Russian average trends.

According to the Ministry of Labour RB, the overall unemployment rate fell to 5.8 percent in 2016. The number of "official" unemployment in the region has decreased since the beginning of 2016 by 9.5 percent. Registered unemployment rate fell from 1.29 to 1.17 percent.

If at the beginning of last year there were 26,000 officially registered unemployed in Bashkortostan, by January 17, 2017 - 22.7 thousand, the press service of the Ministry stated.

As of January 1 this year, the republican job bank contained information about 32.4 thousand jobs. This is almost 40 percent more than a year ago. The coefficient of tension in the labour market has decreased since the beginning of 2016 from 1.2 to 0.8.

The number of workers at risk of dismissal amounted to 11.1 thousand people in the republic. At the end of 2015 there were 13.5 thousand people.
