Regional salary ranking 2016 is published

UFA, 27 December 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. The HeadHunter website and "Salaries Data Bank" project compiled a salary rating of Russian regions 2016.
Experts of the project analyzed the data, which were uploaded into its online system on a quarterly basis by more than 700 Russian employers throughout the year.
"The salary specified in the rating corresponds to the average salary in the region at the position of "specialist" and "leading expert" and does not imply direct subordinates. The values of the average monthly income are shown before deduction of income tax, taking into account bonuses for the current year ", explained the head of the HeadHunter Ural press service Olga Gibadullina.
The first line of the Top 10 is occupied by Moscow and Moscow region with a salary of 69 thousand rubles. St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region are on the second place with 50 thousand rubles.
The top three is closed by the Far Eastern Federal District - 38.5 thousand rubles. The five most profitable regions also included the Urals Federal District and Siberian Federal District - 37.5 and 34.9 thousand rubles, respectively.
The Southern Federal District and the Volga Federal District are in the sixth and seventh places in the salary rankings with 30 thousand rubles.
The average salary in the North-West Federal District and the North Caucasian Federal District, according to the results of this year amounted to 29.5 and 27.7 thousand, respectively.
According to the survey, only 32 percent of Russian employers increased salaries of employees in the past year. 11 percent of employers even reduced it. 57 percent of the companies left employees remuneration unchanged.
About one-third of companies plan the nearest revision of employees’ salaries for January 2017. Another third is planning to index salaries in the first quarter. On average, businesses and organizations are going to raise wages by eight percent in the next year.
