Ufa budget 2017 is planned without deficit for first time in many years

UFA, 21 December 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/. The City Council deputies approved a budget of Ufa for 2017 and the planning period of 2018-2019 years. It is expected that the income and expenses of the city in the next year will amount to 19.39 billion rubles. For the first time in many years the city budget is planned without deficit.

A significant part of the Ufa budget revenues in 2017 will be constituted by a personal income tax - 4.11 billion rubles. Most of the funds will be spent on the implementation of basic social obligations of the municipality to citizens. Traditionally, a significant share of the spending will be directed to education - 9.12 billion rubles. With these funds it will be ensured functioning of schools, kindergartens, institutions of additional education.

Valery Trofimov, the Chairman of the City Council drew the attention of his colleagues to the fact that, although the deputies had approved the main financial document of the city, it would be adjusted more than once as the budget execution in 2017.
