Maternity capital size is frozen until 2020

UFA, 20 December 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. The size of the maternity capital is frozen until 2020, according to «Izvestiya» newspaper. The relevant law on cancelling maternity capital indexation for the birth of the second and subsequent child is signed by the President of Russia Vladimir Putin.

The maternity capital program operates since 2007; the payment amount was 250 thousand rubles. At the moment, the amount of payment for the birth of the second and subsequent child is 453,000 rubles.

As Bashinform News Agency reported, in the region more than 253.7 thousand state certificates for maternal (family) capital were issued. Over 136 thousand certificates holders fully disposed the funds by one or several areas of spending.
