Glavgosexpertiza RF approved "Ishstal" plant project

UFA, 30 November 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. Glavgosexpertiza (The General Board of State Expert Review) RF approved a project plan of a steelworks rolling mill, which will be built in Ishimbai together with a Chinese partner - Heavy Industry Design Institute "Qiao Liang", which has become the equipment supplier and the owner of one third of the company. "The experts concluded that the project documentation and engineering surveys complied with the requirements of technical regulations and other statutory requirements, and the project documentation with the results of the engineering survey carried out for its preparation", it is said in a press release of the agency.

The mill will carry out metal melting to produce annually up to 300 thousand tons of rolled steel for the construction sector. The "Ishstal" is built on the site of the former facilities of machine-building company "Vityaz" with a partial reconstruction of the existing buildings. The project envisages construction of electric-furnace melting and rolling shops, scrap loading shop, an office building and an auxiliary production. It is planned to create about 1,000 jobs her after putting into operation of the plant.
