Loans granted to Bashkiria population increased by almost one third

UFA, 28 November 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. The population of Bashkortostan was granted bank loans totaling 125.4 billion rubles in January-September this year. This is by 29.9 percent more than for the same period of the last year.

As of October 1, the outstanding balance on loans amounted to 276.2 billion rubles, with an increase of 0.9 percent compared to the same period in 2015. Arrears amounted to 27 billion rubles, an increase of 8.9 percent from October 1 last year. In Russia as a whole, the figure increased by 6.6 percent.

These data were submitted by the press service of the Department - National Bank in Bashkortostan of the Ural Main Directorate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.

In the first nine months of this year more than 21.5 thousand housing mortgage loans in the amount of 30.4 billion rubles were issued in the republic.

Arrears on mortgage housing loans issued by banks to Bashkortostan residents amounted to 109.5 billion rubles as of October 1, this year.

Debt in arrears on mortgages reached 1.3 billion rubles, a 1.5 increase from October 1, 2015. Its share was 1.2 percent in the total amount of the debt.

The amount of bank deposits of the population reached 320.7 billion rubles as of the same date, an increase by 4.7 percent from the beginning of the year.
