Bashkiria entered Top-10 milk processors

UFA, 22 November 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. Bashkortostan entered the Top-10 Russian regions in terms of milk processing volumes and provision of processors with local raw materials. It is reported by the Ministry of Agriculture RB. Our republic takes the 5th place in the rating for 2015 prepared by the Centre for Dairy Market Study. Almost 695,000 tons of milk were processed in the region, that is 4 percent of the nationwide amount.

The Krasnodar Territory (jointly with Adygeya), Moscow and the Moscow Region, the Altai Territory, Tatarstan are ahead of Bashkiria. Total 45 percent of processed milk in Russia are accounted for the first top ten.
