Bashkortostan presented its tourist opportunities in China

The delegation of Bashkortostan presented its tourist opportunities in Shanghai at the Visit Russia road show and the "China International Travel Mart, CITM 2016" - Asia's largest tourism exhibition. The delegation was headed by the Deputy Chairman of Bashkortostan State Committee for Entrepreneurship and Tourism Roman Shaikhutdinov.

A presentation of tourist opportunities of Bashkortostan aroused great interest among the participants of the international exhibition.

"Representatives of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China are interested in the "green route" developed in our republic, " said the head of the tourism industry department of the State Committee RB for Entrepreneurship and Tourism Vyacheslav Gostenov.

Bashkortostan’s participation in the international exhibition is the next step in attracting attention of tourists from Asian countries.

In addition to the presentation of the republican tourism opportunities, the Bashkir delegation held a series of talks in Shanghai with business circles of China. According to the press service of the Committee for Tourism, agreements on mutual cooperation in the field of tourism were reached, the organization of charter flights in 2017 between Ufa and Urumqi were discussed.

In general the business program was intense and varied. As part of the road show, the opening of the second, additional Visit Russia National Tourist Office in China took place.
